A Haunted House: Movie Review by HustleNFlo @therealHNF

The Wayans Bros. usually don’t disappoint when it comes to the comedic parodies of popular movie sub-genres.  From “Don’t Be A Menace…” to the “Scary Movie” franchise (1 & 2 that is..the rest of ’em sucked ass), the Wayans’ famous family name has been attached to some classic movies.  This time around Marlon Wayans steps out on his own to co-write and star in the paranormal activity parody “A Haunted House”.
The plot revolves around Marlon Wayans’ character Malcolm Johnson and his girlfriend (played by Essence Atkins) who moves into his house and brings a ghost along who wreaks havoc for a few weeks.  The ghost throws around some pots and pans, drags some people around and throws them down some stairs for a few scenes.  There were a good amount of funny moments in the movie from supporting actors Affion Crockett and Cedric The Entertainer.  I didn’t go into this movie expecting an Oscar-caliber plot, and I snuck into the theatre for free anyway, but I did get the few laughs that I knew this movie was going to bring.
I must admit that I’m one of the many people in the black community who watches a bunch of Illuminati conspiracy videos, and is aware of the agenda to push homosexuality to the forefront of popular culture.  With that being said, I was a little disturbed by the constant hyper-homosexual dialogue and the scene where Marlon Wayans gets anally penetrated by a ghost.  Prepare yourself, because once you see it, it can’t be unseen.
Wait until this movie goes to Red Box, and skip that one scene.
